Anita A (Anzaldua) Saldana

AnitaA. Saldana, age 93, of Kokomo, and formerly of Elwood passed away quietly on Friday, July 11, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by her loving family.Anita was born on May 14, 1921, in Granjeno, TX to Crisostomo and Maria (Molano) Anzaldua.Anita was married to Natividad Saldana who passed away on April 6, 1997.
Anita was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.She enjoyed coloring and needle pointing.Her family was her life.She loved her children and all of her grandchildren.
Anita's family includes:4 Daughters , Sanjuana & husband Jack Sage of Roanoke, IN, Elena & husband Jim Wood of South Bend, Elidia & husband Jesus Carrillo of TX, and Anita & husband Guadalupe Casas of Kokomo, 4 Sons, Cruz Saldana of Fort Worth, TX, Ramiro & wife Joann Saldana of Elwood, Ruben Saldana of Mcallen, TX, Natividad & wife Donna Saldana of Kokomo, 27 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & nephews
Anitawas preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Teresa Saldana, son David Saldana, and grandson Jamie Casas.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elwood, Indiana with Father Dan Duff officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a Rosary will be at 7:00 PM at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1306 South A Street, Elwood, Indiana 46036
