Beverly "Jean" (Porter) Ramey Obituary (1939 - 2011)

Beverly "Jean" Ramey, age 72, of Elwood, passed away on Sunday May 15, 2011, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following an extended illness. Jean was born on February 17, 1939, to Boyd and Sarah (Reese) Porter in Winchester, IN.Jean married John D. Ramey, Jr. on Sept. 24, 1960, and he passed away on Oct. 7, 1997. She was a member ofthe Zion Chapel Church of Elwood. Beverly is survived by her; Sister - Mary L. & husband Jerry Davenport of Elwood, IN Friend - Norma & husband Jack Abbott of Elwood, IN 3 Grandchildren Severl Great Grandchild, Nieces & Nephews She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2011, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana. Funeral services will at 2:00 PM, Thursday May 19th, at Dunnichay Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Bess officiating. Burial will take place in the Elwood Cemetery.
