Casey Diane (Mullins) Mccune

Casey Diane (Mullins) McCune, age 36, of Elwood, passed away after complications during surgery on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Casey was born in Marion on August 5, 1987, to Tony and Debbie (Lewis) Mullins.

On June 6, 2020, she married Cameron McCune and they shared 3 years of marriage.

Casey attended Elwood Community High School and was a part of the graduating class of 2006. She was most recently a Machine Operator for Progressive Plastics in Elwood. Those who knew Casey knew what a joy she was to be around and that she didn't know a stranger. They also knew she had a caring soul, that she loved her son, and that she was always her mother's "Big Girl." Casey loved to attend Jayden's athletic events and was his biggest fan. She enjoyed art, going to the beach, and watching the Colts on Sundays. Casey was a special person and will be missed by all.

Casey is survived by her parents, Tony and Debbie Mullins of Elwood; husband, Cameron McCune of Elwood; son, Jayden Mullins of Elwood; sister, Carianne (significant other Keven) Mullins of Elwood; brother, Cody (Mary) Mullins of Elwood; nieces & nephews, Hayliana, Bryson, Kassandra, Grayson; and special friends, Krystal Davenport and Stephanie Russell both of Elwood.

Casey was preceded in death by her grandmother Glendora Lewis and grandfather Robert Mullins.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Randy Burton officiating. The public is welcome to pay their respects at visitation on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.

The family has requested visitors wear casual attire and in honor of her Panther spirit wear your red and blue.
