Christal J (Quick) Goff Obituary (1928 - 2019)

Christal J. Goff, age 91, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Countryside Manor in Anderson following a long and well-lived life. She was born on January 16, 1928, to the late Verlin and Effie (Goforth) Quick. Christal was a homemaker and dedicated her life to caring for her home and her nieces and nephews. She was a member of Pilgrim Holiness Church in Elwood and attended Grace Holiness Church in Anderson. She enjoyed listening to Christian music, finding bargains at garage sales, and eating ice cream. Christal is survived by her nieces & nephews, Cindy Smith of Anderson, Cathy Leford of Florida, Michelle Staley of Ohio, Melissa Calabro of Florida, Teresa Robinson of California, Donald Williams of Ohio, Jim Quick, Jeff Quick and Rodney Quick all of Arizona and Tabithia Filan and several great nieces and great nephews. Christal was preceded in death by her father, Verlin Quick, mother, Effie Quick, sister, Florence Williams, and two brothers, Verlin Quick and Jimmie Quick. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Bill Stucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Run Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson St. Elwood, IN 4603 .
