Christie Alexander

Christie Lynne Alexander, born May 10, 1966 in Elwood, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on September 26, 2026. Christie, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was known for her remarkable strength, her vibrant spirit, and her unwavering devotion to her family. She cherished her career as a truck driver, finding joy in the freedom of the open road. In her cherished hometown of Elwood, she was a familiar and friendly face, always ready with a warm smile.

Christie was united in marriage with the love of her life, Bradley Alexander Sr., on July 23, 1987. Their bond was a testament of true love and they created a beautiful family together. Her four children, Rachael Allen, BK Alexander, David Alexander, and Gina Alexander, were her pride and joy. As a mother, Christie was supportive, loving, and fiercely protective. Her grandchildren, Zane, Bentley, Dominic, Lexi,
Peyton, and great-granddaughter Brinkley, were a source of immense joy. She was also blessed with an extended family of bonus children, numerous nieces and nephews, her sister Lorann Phillips, brother Kenny Carter, sister Connie Adiar, step-mother-in-law Rose Alexander, and step-sister-in-law Dawn (Rob) Dever, all of whom she loved dearly.

Christie was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Hoy Carter, her siblings Sherry Bennett, David Carter, Johnny Carter, grandparents Gene and Mary Young, and in-laws Butch Alexander and Roberta Alexander, and Ted Alexander. Despite these losses, Christie carried their memories in her heart, drawing strength and inspiration from their love. Christie will always be remembered for her love of cooking for her family, her passion for reading, driving trucks, and her unconditional love for her grandchildren. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Rachael Allen, 1511 Lennox St., Anderson, IN 46012.
