Christina Idlewine-Wesco Obituary (1965 - 2016)

Christina M. "Chris" Idlewine-Wesco, age 50, of Elwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at her residence. Chris was the daughter of Herman and Frances (Granger) Idlewine born on July 21, 1965, in Tipton, IN. She graduated from Elwood Community High School in 1983. Chris was the General Manager of the Elwood Call-Leader where she had worked for 30 years. Chris loved her job and The Call-Leader. She was a member of the Elwood VFW Ladies Auxillary. Chris enjoyed working in her yard and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Chris is survived by her husband of 6 years Eddie Wesco whom she married on January 8, 2010. Daughter, Nyoka (Eric) Lamey of Elwood, Step Children, Elizabeth Wesco of Alexandria and Zachary Wesco of Fort Wayne, Brothers, David (Val Harris) Idlewine of Alexandria and Herman (Cynthia) Idlewine of Windfall, Sister in law, Tammy Idlewine of Elwood, Niece, Magen Idlewine of Elwood and Niece, Tapeka Idlewine of Elwood, and 6 Grandchildren. Christina was preceded in death by her Father, Herman Idlewine, Jr., and her Mother, Frances Idlewine. Per Chris's request there will be no services and her family will have a celebration of life service at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dunnichay Funeral Home of Elwood.
