Clyde R "Randy" Phillips Obituary (1952 - 2015)

Clyde R. "Randy" Phillips, age 63, life long resident of Elwood, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness. Randy was born on August 3, 1952, in Elwood to William R. and Willa (Caudill) Phillips. Randy retired in January 2015, from Chrysler Corp. after 28 years of service. He was a member of UAW #685. Randy enjoyed collecting Phillips 66 Gasoline memorabilia and was an avid car buff. His pride and joy was his 1965 Dodge, he was an avid Mo-Par man. Randy loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Randy is survived by two sons, Jason (Kaylie) Phillips of Elwood and Jeremy Phillips of Marion, one daughter, Jennifer Phillips of Marion, Grandchildren, Austin, Joe, Leigha, and Madisyn Phillips,, Great Grandchild, Liam Ash, one brother, William "Rick" (Pam) Phillips, Jr. of Elwood, five sisters, Betty (David) Murphy of Corydon, IN, Nancy (David) Warren of Elba, AL, Maude (Fred) Knopp, Janie (Myron) Watson, and Patty (Billy) Clark all of Elwood, Companion, Theresa Bastin of Elwood, Companion's son, Brandon Jarvis of Elwood and his children, brother in law, Lou Sego of Elwood, several nieces & nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his Father, William R. Phillips, Mother, Willa Phillips, and Sister, Christine Sego. Funeral service celebrating Randy's life will be at 11:00 am Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with Rev. Roger Gardner of East Main Street Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow at Forrestville Cemetery north of Elwood. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
