David L Foor

David L. Foor, age 63, life long resident of Elwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. David was born in Elwood on March 12, 1956, to the late John and Catherine (Burns) Foor.
David retired as a Truck Driver where he drove for Frontier, Transcor and McLain transportation companies. He was a member of Joy Christian Church of Elwood. David loved his family and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to their sporting events and he loved going camping.
David is survived by three daughters, Rhea (Rick) Bronnenberg, Chelsey (Steve) Casas both of Elwood and Kelly Bixby of Alexandria, his girlfriend, Brandi Wilkerson of Elwood, grandchildren, Kelsey & Lucas Bixby, Kylee McPhearson, Anthony McPhearson, Mikhalee McPhearson, Cayden Casas, Cameron Casas and Anna Bronnenberg, great grandchildren, Layla Leisure, Addilyn McPhearson, Lainey Wills, Jaxon Wills and Brentley McPhearson, five brothers, John (Karen) Foor, Pete Foor, Glen (Jill) Foor, Paul (Martha) Foor, Chasey (Mary) Foor, and sister-in-law, Ellaine Foor, all of Elwood, several nieces & nephews,
David was preceded in death by his Father, John Foor, Mother, Catherine Foor, brothers, Ted, Charlie, Bob & Terry Foor.
Funeral service celebrating David's life will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Pastor Jim Stout officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2020, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
