Deborah June "Debbie" (Armstrong) Stansberry Obituary (1953

Deborah June "Debbie" Stansberry, age 69, of Frankton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at her home surrounded by loving family members.She was born in Anderson on December 10, 1953, to the late Parker Armstrong and Evelyn (Garrett) Fernung. Debbie married Rick Stansberry on July 8, 1990, and they have shared more than 32 years of marriage together. She was a long-time member of the Frankton American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 469.Debbie enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, making items out of wood, going to rummage sales, and loved to garden. She worked in construction for many years alongside her husband Rick.Debbie was a thoughtful, and caring wife, mom, and grandma, who will be greatly missed by her loving family. Debbie is survived by her husband, Rick Stansberry; daughter, Machelle (husband Bobby) Lindsay; son, Jeremy "Frog" (wife Jamie) Gossett; daughter, Nicole Stansberry; son, Ricky Stansberry; six grandchildren, Kassie Maddox, Wyatt Ebert, Jessie (wife Mariah) Gossett, Layne Gossett, Mackenzie Oyler, and Rylan Marlow; five great-grandchildren, Mason, Magnolia, Jeremy, Decker, and Asher; step-brother Jack (wife Amber) Fernung; several nieces and nephews; and numerous close friends in Indiana and Florida. In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her sister, DianaWarren; and brother, JimmyArmstrong. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home, 305 East Sigler Street Frankton, IN 46044.A funeral service to honor and celebrate Debbie's life will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home with Chaplin Rob Mifflin officiating. Burial will take place following the service in the K of P I.O.O.F Cemetery in Frankton.
