Denna Faye (Mitchell) Marinin Obituary (1964 - 2021)

On Saturday, July 10, 2021 Denna Faye (Mitchell) Marinin, known to many as" Dee", mother of three children, passed away at the age of 57.Denna was born on June 2, 1964 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Robert and Validean Mitchell.She married Bobby Simmons in 1981 and hadone son Bobby Simmons, Jr.; and two daughters, Crystal (Simmons) Seaburn and Tya Simmons. With Denna's second marriage, she gained abonus daughter, Brandy Roberts.Denna loved her children and her grandchildren. Her passion in lifewas singing and that always made her the life of the party.Denna was feisty, witty, and very protective of her loved-ones. She overcame many struggles in life including a house fire that left her in a coma, 12 surgeries, and amputations.Denna also survived 4 heart attacks and 3 strokes. Somehow she always made her way back home to be with her beloved cat Frankie. Denna is survived by her foster mother, Shirlene Wigley; brothers, Bob Mitchell and Claud "CL" Mitchell; uncles, Levi (Velta) Mitchell and Watson (Janice) Mitchell; sister, and best friend, Delaine "Dee" Adams; ex-husband, Bobby Simmons; son Bobby Simmons, Jr.; daughters, Brandy, Crystal, and Tya; and son in law, Troy Seaburn; grandchildren; Nathaniel "Bubby", Brooke, Kalynn, Bailey, Samantha, Braydon, Emerson, Mason, Brennon, Hillary, Brionna, Avereigh; and step-grandchildren, Max and Miranda. Along with her parents, Denna was preceded in death brother, Jerry Mitchell; and uncles, Babe Mitchell and B Mitchell.
