Ellen I Farr

Ellen I. Farr, age 86, of Elwood, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Community Parkview Care Center following an extended illness.Ellen was born on November 11, 1928, in California. Ellen married William Farr in December of 1983. Ellen worked for many years for J. Lewis Small Corporation before retiring from Ex Cello Corporation of Elwood.She was a faith full member of East Main Street Christian Church.William and Ellen enjoyed going to all of the local festivals especially the Concerts in the Park.Ellen enjoyed quilting, sewing and loved spending time with her family.
Ellen is survived by her loving Husband, of32 years, William Farr of Elwood, one Daughter, Linda Frazier of Florida, five Sons, Paul Abbott, Eddie Fettig, Albert Abbott, Glen Abbott, and Brian Abbott all of Elwood, Step Daughter, Rebecca Farr of Elwood,two Step Sons, Bill Farr of NC and Harold Farr of Rochester, IN, Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Son, Ronnie Abbott and step son Timothy Farr.

A Celebration of Life Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, June 8, 2015 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with Rev. Roger Gardner of East Main Street Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Monday, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Elwood Animal Shelter.
