Evangeline Lucille (Nash) Scott

Evangeline Lucille "Vangie" Scott, age 95, of Elwood, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017, at Community Parkview Care Center following an extended illness. She was born on May 25, 1921, in Leisure, IN to Richard and Roxie (McCoy) Nash. Vangie graduated from Windfall High School in 1939. She retired as an office manager from Dr. Marion "Bud" Drake doctors office after several years. She is a faithful member of the East Main Street Christian Church and former member of the Elwood Country Club and the A.B.W.A.
Vangie is survived by her loving Husband, of 21 years, Carl Scott of Elwood, Indiana; Son, Marshall (Janie) Sherman of CA, Daughter, Julie Frazier of Greenwood, IN, Step daughter, Janet (Wes) Smith of Fishers, two Step Sons, Randy Scott of Anderson and Neal (Liz) Scott of Cicero, two Twin Sisters, Linda Norwich of Kokomo and Connie Ritchie of Marion, Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Evangeline was preceded in death by her Father, Richard Nash, Mother, Roxie Nash, Husbands, Harold "Mush" Sherman and George "Cracker" Morris, Brother, Fred Nash, Sisters, Donna Davis and Nedra Duncan.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, 2017, from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm, with the funeral service beginning at 7:30PM, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, with Rev. Roger Gardner officiating. Private burial will take place Friday morning at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the East Main Street Christian Church.
