Gary Andrew Snipes

GaryAndrewSnipes , 62, of Frankton, passed away onFebruary 3, 2013 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson, IN following an extended illness.

Garywas born on November 19, 1950 to Calvin "Fred" Snipes and Wilda (Conaway) Banta in Kokomo, IN.
He married Sharon (Nanninga) Snipes and she survives.
Garyretired in2007 fromSteel Parts in Tipton
He loved his children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them.He loved horses and horse racing; and he loved the Indianapolis Colts.Gary enjoyed doing handy work around the house.

Garyis survived by his wife Sharon Snipes of Frankton, Step Mother- BarbaraSnipes of Elwood;Daughter - Carrie Ann Johnson of CiceroSon - Chad Snipes of Indianapolis, Daughter MelissaDennis of Byrdstown, TN;; 3 Stepchildren - DaneMaupin of IL, Candace Maupin of Frankton, AllisonKelm of Elwood;Nine Grandchildren ; Brother - Steven (Kimberly) Snipes of Boxley, IN; Sister - Linda (Dan) Kleinman of Sharpsville; .

He was preceded in death by Father, Calvin "Fred" Snipes, Mother, Wilda Banta, Daughter Julie Snipes and a Grandson Kaleb Lingeman

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 05, 2013 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, 10:00 am at the Sunset Memorial Park, Elwood, Indiana, with Pastor Jerry Markins, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Sunset Memorial Park.

Memorials are suggested to St. Vincent Hospice in Anderson through the funeral home.
