Helen Louise Rice

Helen Louise Rice, age 57, of Elwood, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born in Elwood on August 25, 1959, to the late Willard and Helen K. (Kelly) Rice. Louise was a very friendly, outgoing, and outspoken person who would do anything for anyone. She was a nannie for many years and help raised many children in the community and her family. Louise was a bartender for many years and was known to many friends as "Weezy". She will sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family and friends.
Louise is survived by her mother, Helen K. Rice, sisters, Freda (Rice) Alleman, Wilma Arehart, Peggy Bixby, Candie Rice, brothers, Wally Rice, Rodney Rice, several nieces and nephews, special friends, Sherry, Pam, Maryann, and numerous other special friends. Louise was preceded in death by her father, Willard Rice, and sisters Kathy Kelly, and Patricia Rice.
Visitation will be Friday, November 11, 2016, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home. At 4:00 pm Louise's family will share memories of her.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dunnichay Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
