Helena Martelle (Hawk) Pryor

Helena M. (Hawk) Pryor, age 93, of Elwood, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Community Parkview Care Center in Elwood, IN.
Helena was born on June 25, 1920, in Lawsonham, PA, to the late Claude and Coralie (Shaffer) Hawk.She married William M. Pryor, on September 20, 1941.He preceded her in death on August 16, 1987.
Helena lived most of her adult life in Miami, FL, except for 10 years in New Orleans, LA, before moving to Indiana in 2001.Helena retired from Jordan Marsh in 1989.
Helena is survived by her,Daughter in law, Pat Pryor of Frankton, IN, Grandson, Michael Pryor, Granddaughter, Ashlynn Pryor and several nieces and nephews.
Helena was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son William R. Pryor, as well as brothers, Claude W. Hawk, James I. Hawk, Robert C. Hawk, Richard E. B. Hawk, and Donald G. Hawk.
Arrangements are being entrusted by Dunnichay Funeral Home of Elwood, IN.There will be no visitation in Elwood.Helena's remains will be transported by the Dunnichay family to Kinsey-Volz Funeral Home, in Evans City, PA.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 15th, 2014, from 11:00AM to 12:30PM, at Kinsey-Volz Funeral Home, 328 West Main Street, Evans City, PA 16033.Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or Community Parkview Care Center.
