Ina Lois E (Greenwood) Darling

Ina Lois E. Darling, age 94, of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Marion General Hospital. Lois was born on April 18, 1921, in Spencer, IN to George and Jennie Mae (Haton) Greenwood. Lois worked for Mangas Cafeteria until going to work for Essex Wire. She was a faithful member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Elwood. Lois loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.
Lois is survived by two daughters, Lois Jean (Willie) Webb of Elwood and Jane (Dale) Sparks of Marion, Son in law, Dan Nance of Elwood, grandchildren, Dodi Baldwin, Todd Nance, Bob Cunningham and Amber Lea Nance, 13 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her Father, George Greenwood, Mother, Jennie Mae Greenwood, Son, Robert Allen Edwards, Daughter, June Nance Cunningham, Brothers, Carl, Russell, and George Jr. Greenwood, Sisters, Aurelia Mae Greenwood, Irene Ooley, and Nila Whalen.
Funeral service celebrating Lois's life will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with Pastor Rodney Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Elwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 11:00 am - 1:00 PM, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
