Isabel M "Bell" (Sherman) Reynolds Obituary (1926 - 2018)

Isabel M. "Bell" Reynolds, age 91, of Elwood, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Community Parkview Health & Living. Bell was born on August 4, 1926, in Elwood the daughter of Mack Sherman and Viola (Pennock) Bangle. On May 5, 1948 she married the love of her life Virgil C. "Shorty" Reynolds who passed away on Dec. 8, 1999. Bell graduated from Windfall High School. She enjoyed knitting & sewing and she loved spending time with her family. Bell is survived by her two sons, Virgil (Nancy) Reynolds of Yorktown and Michael (Peggy) Reynolds of Anderson; granddaughter, Melissa Hawkins; brother, Mack Allen Sherman of Tipton; half brother, Mack Ward Sherman of Elwood; and several nieces & nephews. Isabel was preceded in death by her father, Mack Sherman; mother, Viola Bangle; husband, Virgil; son, James Lee Sherman; daughter, Diana Michael; sister, Jane Auler; brother, Ira Sherman. The family expresses much gratitude to the entire staff at Community Parkview Health and Living for their exceptional care of Bell. Funeral service celebrating Bell's life will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with Pastor Derek Hansen officiating. Burial will follow in the Elwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana. In lieu of flowers memorials to Riley's Children Hospital or Muncie A.R.F. (Animal Rescue Fund).
