Jody (Stone) Hughes Obituary (1960 - 2021)

Jody J. Hughes, age 60 of Elwood, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at IU Health Methodist in Indianapolis after a courageous battle with COVID-19. She was born on December 29, 1960 to the late Joseph and Judy (Johnson) Stone. Jody married Jeffery Hughes on December 17, 1983 and they shared 38 years of marriage. Jody was happiest while spending time with her family. She loved attending her children's sporting events and was just as passionate about her animals. She was a loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed. Jody is survived by her husband; children, Damon, Kelsey and Griffin Hughes; two sisters, Debbie (Joe) Williams and Beth (Bryan) Glotzbach; and several nieces and nephews. Jody was preceded in death by her parents and son, Casey Hughes. Jody's wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
