Judith Kathleen "Kathy" Anderson Obituary (1941 - 2024)

Judith Kathleen "Kathy" Anderson of Elwood entered eternal rest on Friday, August 23, 2024 at The Waters of Tipton. Born to the late Harold and Jennie (Jackson) Dietzer on September 17, 1941, Kathy was 82 years old at the time of her passing. She was a graduate of Frankton High School, and on May 5, 1976, she married Kenneth Anderson, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage until his passing in 2018. Kathy spent her life as a homemaker, and caring for her loved ones is what brought her true joy. Later in life, she became the caregiver for her own mother, and they shared many, many hours together engaged in their favorite pastime, watching jewelry shopping channels. Her love of shopping extended to rummaging and thrifting, and she made frequent trips to 2nd Blessings Thrift Shop in Tipton. Along with her family, Kathy adored her cats. Kathy is survived by her daughters, Angel (Courtney) Anderson of Belvidere, IL, and Sheryl (Jeff) Busby of Elwood; her grandchildren Casey and Lucas; her great-grandchildren Bentley, Kyler, and Oakley; and her neighbor and close friend, Mary Deweese of Elwood. In addition to her parents and husband, Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Jim Stickler. Dunnichay Funeral Home has been entrusted with Kathy's care and services.
