Katina Ann Gordon Obituary (1961 - 2024)

Katina Ann Gordon, age 62, of Elwood, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in San Jose, CA on November 14, 1961, the daughter of Tommie and Kathy (Roberts) O'Bryant. On July 1, 2006, Katina married George "Ed" Gordon and they shared 17 years of marriage. Katina was a homemaker and loved to cook. She also enjoyed fishing, crocheting, traveling, and arranging picnics. More than anything, she dearly loved her children and grandchildren. Katina is survived by her husband, George "Ed" Gordon of Elwood; mother, Kathy O'Bryant of Anderson; daughter, Kasey Baker of Huntington; step-daughter, Destiny Gordon of Elwood; step-son, Chad Gordon of Elwood; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Crystal (Jamie) Jewell of TN; brothers, Buddy O'Bryant of Anderson, John O'Bryant of CA, Thomas O'Bryant of CA; and several nieces and nephews.Katina was preceded in death by her father, Tommie O'Bryant; son, Michael Baker; brother, Shannon O'Bryant. Visitation will be Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, IN. The funeral service celebrating Katina's life will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, with Pastor Scott Blaylock officiating.
