Larry T Jones

Larry T. Jones, age 61, of Elwood and formerly of Chicago, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 24, 2015, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital.Larry was born on January 1, 1954, in Chicago to L T Jones and Dorothy (Spinks) Sanders.Larry was employed at Casey's General Store in Elwood, where he was known as the best "Donut Baker".Larry enjoyed cooking, singing, fishing, and working in his yard while recently receiving the Pride Award of Elwood.He will be sadly missed by his loving family.
Larry is survived by his Companion, Jerry Skoczylas of Elwood, two Sons, Larry Jones, Jr., of Chicago, Lionel Jones of Speedway, two Daughters, Patrice Dye and Ina Henderson both of Chicago, 14 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren, four Sisters, BeverlyBosan, Cassandra Giles, Carolyn Johnson all of Chicago, and Annie Henry of CA, Brother, Richard Rias of Chicago, Several Nieces & Nephews
Larry was preceded in death by his Father, L T Jones, Mother, Dorothy Sanders, Step Father John Sanders and a sister Voncille Norwood.

A Celebration of Life Funeral service will be at 12:00 pm Friday, July 31, 2015, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Pastor Bill Hunt officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be Friday, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
