Lois Eileen (Samuels) Jarvis Obituary (1921

LoisEileen Jarvis, 91, of Anderson, passed away onDecember 31, 2012 at Community Hospital in Anderson. Eileenwas born on December 6, 1921 to Verland Mary(Hobbs) Samuels in Frankton. She was married to Thomas Martin Jarvis for 44 years. Eileen retired from Excello Corporation in Elwood after 30 years of service. She had a love for dancing that lasted her entire life. She was a wonderful person, mother, grandmothers and great grandmother and she loved her family dearly. She enjoyed spending time each day with her special friend Ralph Yarling.Eileen was a member of the Elwood Elks and the Frankton American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Eileenis survived by her, 2 Daughters - Loretta Kaye (James) Dodd of Elwood, Marsha Lynne (Robert) Doan of Elwood; Special Friend- RalphYarling of New Lancaster; 7 Grandchildren - Gregory (Sharon) Werline of Frankton, DavidWerline of Elwood, Mary Kathryn Werline of Elwood, Doug (Pat) Doan of Lapel, Brian (Amy) Doan of Frankton, Thomas (Ariane) Doan of Elwood, Jeffrey Noble of TX 11 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by Father, VerlSamuels, Mother, Mary Glendora Samuels, Husband, Thomas Martin Jarvis, daughter Karen Lea Noble who died in 1974, son Michael Kent Jarvis, USN, who died in 1990, granddaughter Tammy Lynne Noble who died in 1982, and a grandson Darren Michael Noble. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 05, 2013 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Harper and Dunnichay Funeral Home, Frankton, Indiana. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, 2:00 pm at the Harper Dunnichay Funeral Home, Frankton, Indiana, with Rich Leavell, officiating.
