Margaret Ruth (Wilson) Myers Obituary (1941 - 2017)

Margaret Ruth Myers, age 76 , of Elwood, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born on April 22, 1941, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to the late Garland and Lillian (Douglas) Wilson. On September 18, 1999 she married Charles "Chuck" Myers and they've spent the last 18 years together. Margaret was a graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School. She was a homemaker all of her life and dedicated herself to taking care of her home and family. She enjoyed She enjoyed bowling and participated in many leagues at both Lucky Strike and Wells Lanes. She loved spending time on the lake with her family and enjoyed spending time doing yard work. She loved being around children especially her grandchildren. Margaret is survived by her loving Husband, of 18 years, Charles Myers of Elwood, daughter, Tabbi (Rick) Bulla of Frankton, son, John Diehl of Elwood, step-son, David (Courtney) Myers, step-daughter, Alesha (Brandon) Hoel, 2 grandsons, Nick Walker and Landon Diehl, 2 brothers, Ronald (Sharon) Wilson and David (Vickie) Wilson, and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Garland Wilson, mother, Lillian Wilson, and granddaughter, Amity Diehl. Funeral service will be at 11 am Friday, September 29, 2017 at Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Courtley Granger officiating. Burial will follow in the K. of P. - I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Frankton. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood .
