Margery N (Nichelson) Greenman

Margery N. Greenman, age 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Community Hospital North following an extended illness. Margery was born on April 3, 1933, in Newport, IN to James H. Nichelson and Lena (Gosnell) Nichelson. On July 11, 1954, she married her first husband Glenn W. Austin. He passed away in 1973. Margery remarried Robert Greenman on April 29, 1989 and he survives. Margery was retired from Western Electric in 1987 after 30 plus years of service. She was a faithful member of Fishers United Methodist Church. She enjoyed volunteering with different activities especially with the food pantry and loved spending time with her family.
Margery is survived by her loving husband, of 27 years, Robert Greenman of Indianapolis, three daughters, Sharon Noland of Greenwood, DeeDee (Mark) Sigler of Frankton, and Kay (Fiancee Tony Hudson ) Austin of Indianapolis, two stepsons, Robert (Dee) Greenman, Jr. and William Greenman both of Carmel, stepdaughter, Elizabeth Greenman of CO, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews
Margery was preceded in death by parents, first husband, 11 siblings, and one son Gregory W. Austin.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 4 pm Sunday, December 13, 2015, at the Fishers United Methodist Church, 9691 E. 116th St., Fishers, Indiana with Rev. Josh Ditmer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 3 pm - 4 pm, at Fishers United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fishers United Methodist Church.
