Mary R (Stickler) Cline Obituary (1931 - 2016)

Mary R. Cline, age 84, life long resident of Elwood, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at her residence. Mary was born on October 28, 1931, in Elwood to the late Russell and Helen (Brown) Stickler. Mary was currently employed by the City of Elwood where she worked part time in housekeeping until her illness. She also had previously worked at Emka and Essex Wire and the Birch Bayh Senior Citizen Building. In her spare time Mary enjoyed playing SkipBo with the senior citizens, enjoyed her work, and spending time with her family and friends. Mom will be sadly missed by her family & friends. Mary is survived by her Son, James (Joyce) Cline of Elwood, Son, David Cline of Elwood, Daughter, Diana (Rudy) DeLaRosa of Elwood, Daughter, Shirley (William) Phillips, Jr. of Greenfield, Daughter, Cathy (Rondall) Green of Elwood, Son, Richard (Teresa) Cline of Sharpsville, Daughter, Dawn (Mike) Durm of Elwood, IN, Son, Gary Cline of Elwood, Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, Sister, Thelma Hobbs of Elwood, Brother, Robert Stickler of Alexandria, Sister, Shirley Gibson of Kokomo, Brother, John Stickler of Peru, Brother, Richard Stickler of Lafayette, Brother, Lesley (Gene) Stickler of Elwood, Sister, Wanda (Kay) Roberson of Elwood, Sister, Norma Mitchell of Rochester, several nieces & nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her Father, Russell Stickler, Mother, Helen Stickler, Son, Dennis Cline, Sister, Ruth Ellen Stickler and Brother, Charles Stickler. Funeral services celebrating Mary's life will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Rev. Michael Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Elwood City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2016, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be appreciated to help offset expenses. These may be made through the funeral home.
