Myrna L (Cole) Mitchell Obituary (1941 - 2014)

Myrna L. Mitchell, age 72, of Elwood,went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 17, 2014, at I U Health Tipton Hospital following an extended illness.She was born on March 24, 1941, in Elwood, IN to the late Richard and Earlene (Taylor) Cole.Living in the Elwood area most of her life she worked for many years at the City Creamery where she met her love of her life Daniel Mitchell.They were married on November 26, 1958. Myrna enjoyed being around and visiting with people.She choose to open her own restaurant,The Coffee Shop in Danville, IN and operated it for many years. Myrna's family includes her loving Husband, of 56 years, Daniel Mitchell of Elwood, Indiana; Brother, Richard (Mary) Cole of Glidden, WI; Aunt, Dorothy Brooke of Elwood; Special Friend, Steve Dick of Tipton;Several nieces & nephews Myrna was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Jane Cole Kaul. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Pastor Josh Nichols officiating. Entombment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 21, 2014, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S.
