Patricia L. "Pat " Pryor Obituary (1949 - 2024)

Patricia L. (Overheim) Pryor , age 75, of Anderson, died Monday, September 16, 2024 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born in Butler, PA on February 1, 1949, to the late Charles and Mary (Mortimer) Overheim. She lived in Terrytown, LA for 30 years prior to moving to Frankton in 2000. Pat retired from BellSouth (AT&T) New Orleans, LA with 25 years of service in 1995. In Indiana, she worked for Marble House in Elwood and Sallie Mae in Fishers. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria. Patricia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael B. and Pamela Pryor of Anderson; granddaughter, Ashlynn (Josiah) Pryor; four great-grandchildren, Brantley, Briella, Breaze, and Braylen Baird of Montezuma, IA; niece, Alicia L. Aldy; and nephew, Donald K. Overheim, II of Denham Springs, LA; as well as several other great-nieces and great nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Pryor; father, Charles F. Overheim; mother, Mary ArVeda McCollough;and brother, Donald Keith Overheim. Visitation will be from 11:00 am -1:45 pm on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson St. Elwood, IN 46036. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 19, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1306 South A Street, Elwood, IN 46036. Father Dennis Goth will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Elwood. Pat's family wants to give a special thank-you to the staff of Westminster Village in Muncie for the wonderful care Pat received while at their facility. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria, or Second Harvest Food Bank of Anderson.
