Patricia G & Steve A Vincent Obituary (1961 - 2019)

Patricia G. "Patty" Vincent, age 58, of Elwood, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Community Hospital in Anderson following a brief illness and on December 4, 2019 her husband Steve A. Vincent, age 62, of Elwood passed away unexpectedly while trying to help a family member which he always loved to do. Patty was born on September 21, 1961 in Elwood to the late David M. and June (Stembaugh) Fuller. Steve was born on June 10, 1957 in Berrien Springs, Michigan to James L. and Dorothy (Bolger) Vincent. Patty and Steve were married on December 9, 1976 and shared nearly 43 years of marriage together. Patty and Steve were both known by many Elwood residents from their time working in the community. Patty worked at Gas America/ Speedway for more than 20 years, and Steve worked for the City of Elwood for more than 28 years. Patty enjoyed going to flea markets, looking for antiques, and collecting "pretties". She also enjoyed singing karaoke, and spending time with her family at birthday parties and family events. Steve loved fishing, hunting, and guns. He enjoyed making Patty happy and so he also enjoyed going to flea markets and looking for antiques. He loved to spend time with his grandkids, working on old houses, and playing pool. Patty and Steve are survived by their children, Dusten R. (husband David) Payne, Dawn A. Vincent, Stephanie L. Reese, Steve A. Vincent Jr., Sarah L.Vincent, and James D. (wife Charity) Vincent; grandchildren, Brooklyn E. Ritter, Kaleb T. Powell, Ahliyah F. Doan, Mason D. Payne, Shyann A. Payne, Brantley S. Payne, Mekayla D. Rudig, Mathew D. Rudig, Jace R. Reese, Lazarus A. Conner, Nicarah L. Conner, Steve A. High, Saint P. Vincent, and great granddaughter, Loahla E. Callaway. Patty is also survived by her sister and brother, Terry L. James and David B. Fuller. Steve is survived by his siblings, Doris A. (husband Burley) James, Beverly Garnes, and Johnny (wife Darlene) Vincent. Both Patty and Steve are survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, David & June Fuller, and siblings, Paul D. Fuller and James D. Fuller. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, James L. & Dorothy Vincent, and brothers, Dennis Vincent and Lester Vincent. A service to honor Patty and Steve's lives will be at 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Dunnichay Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Himelick officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson St. Elwood, IN 46036.
