Patricia Eileen (Vanness) Wadholm Obituary (1930 - 2020)

Patricia Eileen Wadholm, age 90, of Elwood, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Elwood Health and Living. She was born in Elwood on July 13, 1930, to the late Forrest and Pauline VanNess. On May 8, 1953 she married Raleigh Wadholm and they shared 66 years of marriage together prior to his passing on August 7, 2019. More than anything Patricia loved her husband, children, grandson, and great grandchildren. She was always her happiest when she had her family around her. Patricia enjoyed camping, traveling, seeing new places, reading, especially Western and Indian themed books, and crocheting afghans and doilies. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Carla Wadholm; grandson, Bronc (wife Koren) Wadholm; three great-granddaughters, Karoline, Aliza, and Mariah Wadholm. She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Pauline VanNess; husband, Raleigh Wadholm; two sons, Terry and Steve Wadholm; five siblings, Robert VanNess, Forrest VanNess, Jr., Eugene VanNess, Carolyn Gillam, and Joyce Wood. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Friday, September 11, 2020 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Rev. Roger Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the Elwood City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 11, 2020, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
