Paul Everest

–

Noblesville, Indiana

Paul Eugene Everest, 89, of Noblesville and formerly of Frankton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on October 8, 1935, in Logansport, Indiana, to the late Thane and Ester (Strong) Everest. On June 4, 1955, he married the love of his life, Maryelen (Tyson) Everest, and together they shared nearly 70 wonderful years of marriage.

Paul dedicated his career as a Tool & Die Maker at Delco Remy before retiring. A man of deep faith, he was a longtime member of Frankton Methodist Church, where he actively participated in the church’s beloved tenderloin dinners.

Paul had a passion for collecting, especially model railroad items, Jewel Tea China, and John Deere toy tractors. He found joy in photography, particularly capturing memories from family vacations, and was an avid bird watcher. In his younger years, he enjoyed cutting firewood, and throughout his life, he was known for his quick wit and playful sense of humor, always bringing smiles to his family. One of his most cherished memories was celebrating his granddaughter’s wedding on the same day as his and Maryelen’s 50th anniversary.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Maryelen Everest; his children, Ronda (William) Davis, Lisa (Thomas) Ford, and Rodney (Vickie) Everest; his daughter-in-law, Joy Everest; his grandchildren, Matthew Davis, Michael Davis, Justin (Cara) Ford, Jennifer (Matthew) Koch, Sara Everest, Jessica Everest, Victoria (Bryce) Myers, Jonathan Everest; Travis Tomlinson, Angela Clingerman, Matthew Tomlinson, James Tomlinson, and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Donald (Carolyn) Everest and Glenn Everest, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thane and Ester Everest; his son, Steven Everest; his grandson, Joshua Everest; and his brothers, Harold and Larry Everest.

Family and friends are invited to honor Paul’s life at a funeral service on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Preusz officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home, located at 305 East Sigler St., Frankton, IN 46044.
