Raymond L. Giselbach

–

Elwood, Indiana

Raymond L. Giselbach of Elwood entered into glory on Sunday, October 20, 2024, while at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Anderson. He was born in Tipton on September 22, 1970, to the late David Giselbach and Susan Clark. A graduate of Highland High School, Raymond most recently worked in packaging for the Hopewell Center. He was 54 years old at the time of his passing.

Raymond was a special soul who loved everyone he knew, and was loved by everyone who knew him. Though he faced many challenges, Raymond had the heart of a winner and he was able to overcome and thrive in life. He loved the outdoors, especially camping trips and spending time on the water, but was always ready to relax at home watching football or classic TV, or enjoying his iPad. Raymond was a fervent NASCAR fan, and he always delighted in watching the races, as well as collecting various models. His presence will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Raymond is survived by his two brothers, David and Danny Joe Giselbach, both of Elwood. He is also survived by his aunts, Darlene (Kenneth) Barnett and Dianna (Roger) York; uncle, Danny (Kim) Giselbach; nieces, Angie, Ashley, and Jennifer Giselbach; nephews, Steven (Kayla) and Danny J. Giselbach; great aunt, Elizabeth Mays; several cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews; step-brother, Eric Clark; and the beloved family dog, Izzy.

Preceding Raymond in death, along with his parents, are his step-father, Kenneth R. Clark; step-brother, Kevin Clark; grandmothers, Betty Cloud and Nancy Connors; grandfathers, Walter Cloud and Leo Giselbach; and uncle, Dale Giselbach.

The family's wishes were for Raymond to be cremated, and Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood, Indiana, has been entrusted with his care. A graveside service and celebration of life for Raymond will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heart of Hoosierland Humane Society.
