Rev Marvin L " Buddy" Hahn Obituary (1935 - 2015)

Rev. Marvin L. "Buddy" Hahn, age 79, of Elwood, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.Buddy was born on December 11, 1935, in Elwood to Russell and Edna (Walser) Hahn.On January 22, 1955 he married Barbara (Stewart) Hahn his wife of 60 years. He has served the Lord for 56 years.Buddy retired from Vectren in 1997 after 41 years.Buddy ministered in Madison & Delaware counties, he was a man of God. Buddy is survived by his Wife, of 60 years, Barbara Hahn of Elwood, two Daughters, Pam (Jerry) Gregory of Washington, IN, and Lisa (Ron) Ball of Elwood, Son, MarkHahn of Elwood, Grandchildren, Lori Cox, Nicole (Stacy) Meyer, Mandy (Chris) Gibson, Jake (Shannon) Hahn, Melissa (Phil) McClain, Stephanie (Jonathan) Rybolt, Courtney (Alex) Gray, Brooke (Jeremy) Minor, Adam Frausto, Great Grandchildren, Gavin, Jalen, Justin, John, Devan, Caden, Brycen, Olivia, Ethan, Quiten, Elena, and Luke.three Sisters, Linda (Bob) Konieczny, Susan Hoover, and Dorcas Liggett, two Brothers, Harold (Helen) Hahn and Ralph (Loretta) Hahn several nieces & nephews. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and one son Michael Hahn. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Southside Community Church,1815 South P Street, Elwood, withRevs. Mark Acree & Bill Abresch.Burial will follow in the Elwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
