Richard J "Rick" Baugher

Richard J. (Rick) Baugher, age 57, of Elwood, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. Rick was born on June 6, 1958, in Jacksonville, Maryland to Ted Baugher and Treva Sue (Ford) Parks. He attended Tri-Central High School, then he served his country in the US Army. Rick married Brenda (DeWitt) Baugher on Nov. 26, 2012. Rick retired in 2012 from Steel Parts of Tipton. He is a member of the Elwood VFW and a lifetime member of the Howard County Vietnam Veterans. Rick enjoyed riding his Harley and was an avid Nascar fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Rick is survived by his Mother, Treva Sue Parks of Windfall, Wife, Brenda Baugher of Elwood, Son, Peter Baugher of New York, Daughter, Heather (Jeremy) Bryant of New York, Stepson, Joshua Jones of Durango, CO, Stepdaughter, Lora (Chris) Jones of Elwood, Grandchildren, Tyler, Landon, Kolton, Nolan, Owen, and Izella, Brothers, Jeff Baugher of Windfall, Jack (Peggy) Baugher of Kokomo, and Todd Parks of Marion, Sisters, Donna (Jesse) Brown of Windfall and Jill (Rich) Roudebush of Tipton, Half-sister, Elena Boyd of FL, several nieces & nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his Father, Ted Baugher.
Funeral service celebrating Rick's life will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with Stan Alvey officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery in Windfall with military graveside rites conducted by the US Army and the Elwood VFW American Honor Guard Unit.
Visitation will be Monday February 15, 2016, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
