Richard "Rick" Lawrence

Charles Richard " Rick" Lawrence, age 64, of Elwood, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at his residence following an extended illness. Rick was born in El Paso, TX on May 8, 1957, to the late Charles and Joan (Betterton) Lawrence.
Rick graduated in 1975 from Eastbrook High School. He retired as a tool & die maker from Service Tool, and Modern Die. He was a member of the NRA and Arbor Tree Association. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
Rick is survived by his wife, Brenda Bixby of Elwood, IN; three sons, Cody (Elizabeth) Lawrence of West Lafayette, IN, Shawn (Paige) Lawrence of Gas City, IN, and Craig (Irina) Lawrence of Carmel, IN; two step-sons, Todd Faulstich and Curt (Missy) Faulstich; step-daughter, Brandy Faulstich, three grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A long side of his parents Rick was preceded in death by his two brothers, Steve and Sheldon Lawrence; and a step-son, Wade Faulstich.
Funeral service celebrating Rick's life will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Dunnichay Funeral Home Elwood chapel. Burial will follow in the Elwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2021, two hours prior to the service from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home.
