Robert E "Bob" Frye Sr

Robert E. "Bob" Frye, Sr., age 60, of Anderson and formerly of Elwood, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Community Hospital following an extended illness.He was born on July 5, 1953, to the late Jack and Lois (Penn) Frye.
On July 14, 1990 he married the love of his life Brenda L.(Matheney) Frye. Bob served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.Bob worked as machanist for Standard Locknut.He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, and was a big Dale Earnhardt fan.
Bob is survived by his loving Wife, of 23 years, Brenda (Matheney) Frye of Anderson
Son - Robert E Frye II of Elwood
Daughter - Brittany (Kyle) Grinstead of Anderson
Grandson - BraylonGrinstead
Granddaughter - Reaghan Frye
Brother - David (Carmaletta) Frye and sister Anita Roberson both of Elwood
Several Nieces and Nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his Father, Jack Frye, Mother, Lois Frye and his Grandparents Clarence and Mary Penn.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Monday, November 25, 2013 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with Pastor Dick True.Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park, Elwood,with full military rites conducted by the Elwood VFW American Honor Guard service.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 24, 2013, from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association.
