Roberta M (Harvey) Wells Obituary (1931 - 2019)

Roberta M. Wells, age 88, of Elwood, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Miller's Merry Manor Tipton. She was born on April 14, 1931, to the late Sherrill and Elizabeth (Kennedy ) Harvey. On July 20, 1952 she married the love of her life Bennie Wells. Roberta was Homemaker and dedicated herself to caring for her home and her family. She was a member of East Main Street Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed doing craft work. For many years Roberta and Bennie enjoyed going to craft shows and selling crafts they had created together. Roberta is survived by her loving husband, of nearly 67 years, Bennie Wells of Elwood, daughter, Catherine (Tom) Wells Martin and son, Gregory Wells, grandchildren, Brian (Gina) Sullivan and Melisa (Daniel) Adams, great granddaughter, Hailegh Adams and fiance' Rosalio Guajardo, great grandsons, Caleb Sullivan, Hunter (Ellie) Sullivan, and Dreyton Adams, and a great-great granddaughter, Adalynn Sullivan. Roberta was preceded in death by her father, Sherrill Harvey, mother, Elizabeth Harvey. A funeral service celebrating Roberta's life will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Rev. Roger Gardner officiating. Entombment will follow in the Elwood City Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 11, 2019, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
