Rodney Edgell

Rodney Edgell, age 67, of Columbia City and formerly of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Miller's at Oak Point in Columbia City. He was born on June 9, 1949 in Fort Lewis, WA, to the late Robert Edgell and Saundra (Gray) Peters. He was a 1968 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School. Rod retired in 2004 from RCA/ Thompson Consumer Electronics after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing and was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers.
Rod is survived by his son, Rod (Stacy) Edgell of Columbia City, two grandchildren, A.J and Adam Edgell, two brothers, Tim (Susie) Edgell of Marion and Tony (Angie) Edgell of Elwood, and several nieces and nephews. Rod was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Edgell, Mother, Saundra Peters, Brother, Steve Edgell, Sister, Cheri Singer.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
