Ruth "Virginia" (Baker) Keralla Obituary (1921 - 2015)

Ruth "Virginia" Keralla, age 94, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Community Northview Care Center following an extended illness. Virginia was born on June 19, 1921, in Clinton County toClyde and Elsie (Burt) Baker.On July 20, 1972, she married John Keralla and he passed away on Oct. 6, 1984. Virginia retired on August 1, 1982, from Delco Remy.She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers in her yard, cooking, her family meant the world to her.She loved spending time with her family. Virginia is survived by her Daughter, Fairy (Jim) Anderson of Pendleton, two Sons, Jan (Roxie) Hobbs of Lafayette and Jeff Hobbs of Centerville, five grandchild, Tim (Victoria) Hobbs, Doug (Kjersten) Hobbs, Nancy (Chris) Bergman, Tracey (Jon) Fonacier, and Trisha (Fiance' Randy Blaylock) Hover-Catron, ten Great Grandchildren, and six Great Great Grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Fairy Daughtery. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood. Burial will follow at Oakhill Cemetery near Kirkland. Visitation will be Thursday, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
