Sharon K (Lundy) Nickles

Sharon K. Nickles, age 66, of Elwood, passed away onMay 29, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN following an extended illness.Sharon was born on December 21, 1946, to Roscoe and Stacy (Mullins) Lundy in Pennington Gap, VA. OnSeptember 3, 1967, she married William J. Nickles and he survives.
Sharon retired from RGF & National Power Flow of Elwood.
Sharon enjoyed playing cards and was an active member of the Euchre Club/ Eight is Enough.She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Daughter - Sharon Trueblood of Elwood
Son - William J. Nickles Jr. of Elwood
2 Step daughters - Sherri & (John)Fleenor of Goshen and Cindy Chandler of Alexandria
9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren
Sister - Sandra Wade of Jonesville, VA
2 Brothers - Edward Lundy of Jonesville, VA and Kenny Lundy of Elwood
Several nieces & nephews

She was preceded in death by Father, Roscoe Lundy, Mother, Stacy Lundy, and a sister Barbara Jean Collier.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 02, 2013, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013, at 11:00 am at the Dunnichay Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Dare of the First United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will take place at a later date at Forrestville Cemetery.
