Shawn Allen Logan

Shawn Allen Logan, age 47, of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Community Hospital Anderson. Shawn was born in Tipton on July 31, 1975, to the late James and Evelyn (Simmons) Logan.

Shawn attended Elwood Community High School. After high school, he moved to Florida where he took courses to work as Machine Operator. He spent 20+ years in Florida but moved back to be closer to friends and family. Shawn's most prized possession was his Harley. He loved the Indianapolis Colts, but, most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Shawn would always put others before himself! He battled kidney disease his whole life, but he always stayed strong so he could be a positive influence on his nieces and nephews! He will always be remembered as, what he would say, "an outlaw biker with a hippie heart!" Shawn touched the hearts of anyone who knew him!

Shawn is survived by sister, Lorenda (John) Ludlow of Frankfort, IN; brothers, Robert (Nicole) King of Elwood, IN, and James "Jim" (Lisa) Logan of Elkhart, IN; nephews, Ty McCord, Danny Jay Giselbach, Jamie Logan, Todd Logan, Cory (Haley) King, and Matthew (Abigail) King; nieces, Angie Giselbach, Ashley Giselbach, and Kaylee Neese; and significant other, Amber Bryan of Frankton, IN.

Shawn was preceded in death by his parents, James Deriell Logan and Evelyn Louise Logan; Sister, Loretta "Lynn" Neese; and Great-Niece, Millie Marie King.

The family has chosen cremation and will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Shawn's family has entrusted Dunnichay Funeral Home with his care.
