Sue A (Laub) Courtney

Sue A.Courtney, 70, of Elwood, passed away onMarch 14, 2013 at Community Parkview Care Centerfollowing an extended illness.

Sue was born on January 26, 1943 to George and Bertha (Noone) Laub in Elwood, IN.She married Sammy R. Courtney,
May 28, 1966 and he passed away May 5, 2002.

Sue has her Masters Degree in Education from Ball State University
Sue retired from the Elwood Community School Corporation in 2002 she taughtin the Art Department at Oakland
School for 30 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed reading.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Sue is survived by: Sons - Jay (Gina) Courtney of Elwood,
Drew Courtney
Grandson - Cole Courtney of Elwood
Granddaughter - Cassidy Courtney of Elwood
BrotherJerry Laub of Elwood
Several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents George and Bertha (Noone) Laub,and husband Sam Courtney and brother Danny (Sandy) Laub
Visitation will be heldat Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana. from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday March 19, 2013

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday March 20, 2013at the Dunnichay Funeral Home with Father Dan Duff officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
