Susan "Susie" L (Hahn) Hoover Obituary (1954 - 2017)

Susan L. "Susie" Hoover, age 63, lifelong resident of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, November 9, 2017. She was born in Elwood on January 26, 1954, to the late Russell and Edna (Walser) Hahn. Susie was employed as a cook at Friendly's for more than 20 years. She will be remember for always having a smile on her face while cooking for the customers. She was a hard worker and took pride in her work. She was a wonderful mom, sister and aunt. Susie was an avid reader and enjoyed being with her family. She will sadly missed by all who knew her. Susie is survived by her son, Brian Hoover of Elwood, 2 sisters, Linda (Bob) Konieczny and Dorcas Liggett, 2 brothers, Harold (Helen) Hahn and Ralph (Loretta) Hahn, sister-in-law Barbara Hahn, and several nieces and nephews. Susie was preceded in death by her father, Russell Hahn, mother, Edna Hahn, and brother, Rev. Marvin "Buddy" L. Hahn. Cremation was chosen and there will be no services at this time.
