Thomas Richard Conwell

Thomas Richard Conwell, age 53, of San Fransico and formerly of Elwood, passed away onFebruary 24, 2012, at his residence following an extended illness.Tom was born on June 16, 1958, to Richard Conwell and Sue (Chesterfield) Mitroff in Elwood, IN.
Tom was baptized and attended the 1st United Methodist Church in Elwood and he attended the Bethany United Methodist Church in San Fransico. Tom retired from Hilton Hotels where he had
worked as a Tele-Communications Engineer for 27 years. While employed at Hilton Tom received several commendations for exemplary service.
Tom graduated from Elwood Community High School in 1977.Tom was a member of the Victorian Alliance, Alamo Square Neighborhood Association, and the Stationary Engineers Local 39 Union.

He was preceded in death by Father, Richard Conwell Step Father Mike Mitroff

A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 14th, 2012, at the Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood with
Rev. Cindy Osgood officiating.Burial will take place at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday.
