Tommie "Tommy" A Morgan *Services March 4 2023*

Tommie "Tommy" A. Morgan, age 75, of Elwood, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Elwood Health and Living after battling cancer.
Tommy was born in Decatur, AL, on June 7, 1947, to the late James E. Morgan and Ethel (Martin) Morgan. On April 23, 2002, he married his companion of 14 years, Dawn M. (Shultz), and they shared 22 wonderful years of marriage.
Tommy was a truck driver and spent most of his career hauling automotive equipment for Carter Express. He was awarded over 6 million safe miles in his career. Tommy retired in 2019 after spending 30+ years on the road. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of several motorcycle clubs: Unforgiven Motorcycle Club where he served as National President, Jazzy Brothers Motorcycle Club, and Fast Company Motorcycle Club. Tommy loved traveling on his motorcycle; he made over 50 trips to Sturgis and enjoyed traveling with Dawn all over the country. Tommy also enjoyed listening to oldies and blues music as well as playing poker.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Dawn M. Morgan of Elwood; stepson, Brandon Kinney of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Reese Kinney; brothers, Jim (Robin) Morgan of Whiteland, IN, Tony (Sherry) Morgan of Decatur, AL, Rick Morgan of Indianapolis; and sister, Ginny(Larry) LeBellof Portage, Indiana.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ethel Morgan; brothers, Roger Morgan and John Morgan.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Doyle officiating.
The family has chosen cremation as the final disposition.
