Tyvonnia I "Tiny" (Cummings) Hoover Obituary (1945 - 2017)

Tyvonnia I. "Tiny" Hoover, age 72, of Elwood, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at IU Health/Tipton Hospital in Tipton. She was born on May 6, 1945, to the late Arthur and Wista (Allen) Cummings. On September 29, 1963 she married the love of her life, Sam Hoover. Tiny retired from Howard Community Hospital in Kokomo where she worked in Housekeeping for many years. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and formerly enjoyed bowling. Tiny loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she loved her dog Samantha. Tiny is survived by her loving husband, of 54 years, Sam Hoover of Elwood, daughter, Melissa "Missy"(Kenny) Beeman of Elwood, son, Lonnie (Jennifer) Hoover of MI, 6 grandchildren, Chris (Tracy) Brown, Kayla (Jade) Cornwell, Kendra (Jake) Hunsberger, Kenneth (Beck) Beeman, Jr., Jacob Hoover, and Matthew Hoover, 11 great-grandchildren, Keagan, Rebecca, and Aubrianna Brown, Jonathon Biddle, Kyle, Damon and Makenzie Cornwell, Ayden Horton, Lurelle, Lillian, and Grayson Beeman, 3 sisters, Cheri Felton, Alice (Joel) Harville, Dorothy (Bill) Green, 2 brothers, James Cummings and Allen (Sue) Cummings, and several nieces and nephews. Tiny was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Cummings, mother, Wista Cummings,2 sisters, Wilma Kelly and Bonita Russell, and 4 brothers, Everett Cummings, Arthur Cummings, Richard Cummings, and Russell Cummings. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Friday, December 29, 2017 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Pastor Ron Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Forrestville Cemetery.
