Veronica Dee "Ronnie" (Schutt) Cole

Veronica Dee "Ronnie" Cole, age 54, of Elwood, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Kendallville, IN on January 28, 1967, to the late Wayne and Dee (Carter) Schutt.
Although Veronica lived with a disability for most of her life, her family and friends will always remember her as very fun and loving. She enjoyed shopping and she always looked forward to the holidays.
Veronica is survived by her partner, Brenda Beeman of Elwood; daughter, Kathy Cole of MI; three grandchildren, Olivia, Callie and Sienne; brother, Byron (Rose) Schutt of Auburn, IN; sister, Teri Schutt of Fort Wayne; and many nieces and nephews, Wendy Jordan, Anthony Harris (partner Elosia), Makia Trueblood, Melody Russell, Mackenzie Harris, Timothy Harris, Eva Harris, Ethan Harris, Sammy Beeman, Brooklyn Beeman, Lucas and Rebecca Schutt, Brayden and Savannah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Dee Schutt.
Funeral service celebrating Veronica's life will be at 3:00 pm Friday, September 10, 2021, at Dunnichay Funeral Home Elwood chapel with Pastor Nate Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Elwood Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, September 10, 2021, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home.
