Virginia Wilson

With a heart full of sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Virginia Faye "Ginger" Wilson, born August 11, 1961, in Anderson, Indiana. She departed from us on September 3, 2026, at the age of 65. Ginger was known for her love of family, her dedication to her career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and her passion for her hobbies.

Ginger's commitment to her family was unmatched, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with her loved ones. She was a proud and loving mother to Kendra Foor, Kyle (wife Terra) Foor, Richard (wife Krystal) Foor, and James Pratt. Her love for her family extended to her sisters, Michelle Wilson, Deborah Frazier, and Shari Coston. She was a devoted grandmother who cherished her grandchildren, Ethan, Molly, Kyla, Kaysen, Kynzen, Serenity, LaKota, Axel, Jeremiah, Farrah, Grayson, and Braxton, and great-granddaughter, Blessence. She was also a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Kathryn Coston.

Ginger was a beacon of light in the lives of many. She had a passion for life that was evident in her hobbies, which included being in the high school band, color guard, and gymnastics. She enjoyed going catfishing and relished every opportunity to be at home with her family. Her devotion to her family and her work made her a pillar of strength in her community.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 5:00pm to 7:00 pm EDT at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 South Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana, 46036.
