Wilma J "Myrt" (Beck) Beeman Obituary (1924 - 2016)

Wilma J. "Myrt" Beeman, age 91, of Elwood, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016, at Community Parkview Care Center. Wilma was born on April 15, 1924, in Huntington, IN to the late Ernest and Gladys (Jacobs) Beck. She married John R. Beeman on March 12, 1942, and he passed away on March 15, 1994. Wilma was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family. Wilma is survived by her two sons, Arlen (Connie) Beeman of Elwood and Lonnie (Pam) Beeman of Kokomo, Grandchildren, John (Rhonda) Beeman, Patrick (Karen) Beeman, Michael (Evelina) Beeman, LeAnn (Patrick) Mayer, and Kelly Jean Beeman, seven Great Grandsons, two Great Great Grandsons, Brother, Lewis Beck of Huntington, Sister, Doris (Eldon) Meyer of Huntington, Special niece, Mary Lou Mitchell and Great Niece, Nancy Mitchell, several nieces & Nephews Wilma was preceded in death by her Father, Ernest Beck, Mother, Gladys Beck, brother, Ralph Beck, sister, Maxine Winely, and great grandson, Marcus Mayer. Funeral service celebrating Wilma's life will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with Rich Leavell officiating. Burial will follow in the Elwood Cemetery.
